  • Dust all of the cabinets and shelves with a well-kept rag or duster

  • Clean up while every meal: The rule of thumb, it seems like a faff but it is so grand it.

  • Do the eye-level test: Get every last crumb by checking your countertops at eye-level while you've cleaned them.
  • Be strategic: Always work left to smart and top to bottom. Once you've nailed this strategy, cleaning your space will be so breezy and you won't need to think throughout it.

How to deep spruce a kitchen in 45 minutes: step-by-step

1. Clear the decks

for keeping baking trays, broiler pans, and toaster ovens clean.'
